The Outsiders Data

Left: Greasers, “bad” guys, come from the hood so they must be bad.
Front right: Soc, rich kids, think they are better than everyone.

The greasers are ready to fight.

If you were to replace the Soc with Paul Blart, it changes what is going on in a drastic way. It looks as if the Greasers scared Blart and he is trying to get away before they hurt or possibly kill him.

  1. I see the view here, but maybe incorporate a little more analysis. This does work though! I see how it does change the whole scenario making it as to where the Greasers are viewed as scaring off the Socs and winning the battle! Good work, good view, just a little better analysis and depictions.

  2. I think there was a lot more you could have done with this scene. You scrape the surface well, but what does this tell us about the time the movie centers around or takes place in as opposed to today? And, the dreaded bit of feedback, make sure you keep in mind the "so what?" question through all of this. You start it with the analysis of their clothes, but I'm sure there's more you could do.
