In 2003 Queer eye for the straight guy premiered and it helped us get into the normal reality TV culture while just 6 years ago Ellen was fired for coming out. This show made great strides in dismantling the heteronormative culture while moving us into rural areas through media. However the main problem of it is that gay men and queer people in general are slaves to heteronormative culture and people. The new one during the intro Tan France says the last one fought for tolerance this one fights for support. The new one is amazing and for many different reasons they aren’t all white, same religion and they talk about what it is like to be in Out in 20gayteen, around t***p supporters, and many other things that don’t really accept us to begin with. Karamo was a frequent advisor to Obama on Queer issues of color and a graduate of Marjory Stone man Douglas High School the site of the 2018 mass shooting. The bio of all of the FAB FIVE is quite extensive and not worth typing but they all have great records in their respective areas.
