IT
1990-2017
Intro: Are you afraid of something? Is it spiders crawling up your body, mice running across your feet, being burned alive while you scream out, or even the look of a clown makes you pee yourself? I can see you have images racing through your minds. So the question you should ask yourself is, what is your fear that you have nightmares about?
Old vs New
- Adults: going back to the memories when IT comes back
- Kids: finding out who IT was
Social History
- Missing Kids
- Child Abuse
Scare Appeal
- Scary Acts
- REAL true Fear
Conclusion: Even though both movies are based on a clown "eating" kids you can see the huge differences in the movies. They show the fact of how fears can change you and how you can see things differently.

Comparing the IT movies is a great outside of the box idea, I'm sure many students aren't taking the approach of comparing a scary movie. Although, I do feel like you are missing lots of information. If the text above is your outline it's not bad, although I wouldn't have your introduction and conclusion written out fully. I also don't see a thesis which is vital to Vroomans criteria for the project. I look forward to seeing the differences you found in the movie and how society warranted those changes.
