It's the Hard Knock Thesis For Us, It's the Knock Thesis...

I thought this project would be a lot easier! I guess my topic is quite fitting. I'm not sure I have a very cohesive thesis... or even a thesis at all, so I hope this blog post gets me some help or better insight. We shall see!!!

I have been thinking about covering race or the political state of the country during these periods, although I really do not want to get into that topic as I may step on some toes. Then I was thinking about economical circumstances during the social histories. Obvious, yet less obvious than talking about race and heavy politics. So!... I would THINK a good thesis would be like what I stated previously in my other blog post. The economical and social history events have been setting up a long chain of adaptations; from the comic of the 30s to the musical number portraying the 30s in the 80s to the 90s version Jay Z put out. Although I haven't talked much about the comic, at all actually, I think that plays an important role. I will touch base on that for a tiny bit at the beginning.

I think this really covers a lot on the Syntagmatic relationship between the texts. Its the sequencing of events that leads us to the different apparatuses. Also, like in my previous blog post, we see that I am confused on the paradigmatic analysis. I still am. So I have no idea what to do for that. We will just have to wait and see what this presentation brings about!...
