These two pages are the basis of the stage play and movie. They include plot and songs included in the two versions. They explain the story and Donna’s relationships which I am focusing on with my presentation about slut shaming.
Feminism 1990s to Now
Feminsim changed over the course of time and is now widely revovled around sexual violence prevention and acception of women and their choices. Mamma Mia is all about Donna and her daughter Sophie and her unknown three possible fathers.
Mamma Mia shows girl power and the strength women have. Donna raises Sophie all on her own while living her dream and working hard. The 90s were all about girl power and accepting all kinds of women.

Genre

ABBA. The ones who started it all (retrieved 3 October, 2019)
ABBA is a Swedish group and the writers of all the music in Mamma Mia. Their music included love, happiness, and strong female singers.

Slut Shaming in our culture (retrieved 3 October, 2019)
Speaks about how women view other womens’ sex lives as “slutty” because they have more casual sex than the women talking about them does. This kind of talk doesn’t happen in Mamma Mia except for when Donna talks about herself with Sam, Bill, and Harry even though it is implied at times.
This article talks about the sad and brutal truths of slut shaming in American culture. The line between sexy and slutty is so fine that many girls don’t have a clue what the imaginary boundary is.
