Final Project

For the final project, I will be showing my focus group the movie the green mile which is based on the novel of the same name by Steven king. My focus group will consist of 2 or 3 people. The subject I would like to focus on is the connection between the character john coffey and Jesus Christ and how "righteous" people of the time unfairly convicted and condemned them both. Many people now in society are condemned or unfairly accused because of their race or religious beliefs. I would also like to look how race played a significant role in his conviction and execution even though he had miraculous healing powers and was a gentle and innocent man. I am hoping to get comments from my focus group containing their thoughts on these topics
