M'Baku and T'Challa fight scene

I like the way the film maker uses light in this scene. The shadows stand out against the bright colors. During the fight, the director uses rack focus in order to keep your attention on the action instead of the crowd. I like this choice because it is easy to get caught up in the bright images. Another thing that I found interesting was that the sound wasn't just in the background, it was simultaneous. You could occasionally see the people in the background playing the drums.

  1. Hey there! I like your analysis of this scene. I think an argument you can make is how the various shots and angles make the scene more adventurous and exciting. How seeing the multiple different perspectives allows for varying emotional attachments and feelings. Overall, how this clip was built and how that forms the emotional trip that this scene provides is something I believe is worth exploring!
