Hi Arcelia, while I do agree that this is a powerful scene, I would like to know what it makes it powerful to you? What is it about these film techniques that are being used during this scene that make you think that it is powerful? You have a lot of brief descriptions but I feel that you could have put more personal thought in this and why you chose this scene specifically. I believe that you know the reason, and I would like it if you could expand on that, that way I can see how this scene is deemed powerful in your perspective.
ReplyDeleteHello Arcelia, I enjoyed reading you analysis but wished you would have talked more about what this scene represents and why it is powerful. I believe this movie and especially scene can be interpreted in many ways but what stuck out to you? Was it powerful because of what was happening or because the elements they used in this scene heightened the effects that just made it seem powerful?
ReplyDeleteHi Arcelia, For this scene you might want to go back and look at color. That blue is bright and probably represents something. They also sped a lot of time on the close up, so you could talk about what meaning that has.
ReplyDeleteHey there! Very in-depth analysis. I think an argument that you can make with this scene is that the usage of closer shots and focal points is what allows the viewer to make a deeper connection to the scene. As you watch the clip from a medium length, eye-level perspective, you gain a feeling of being there and can feel the emotional connections of the scene.
ReplyDeleteHi Arcelia, very in depth list of what is seen within the movie. I would say to add some color exposure and how the color of that scene brings in a certain feeling when the scene is watched. for example the long shot picture you added above you could talk about how inside the mind of the black panther it is very calm and relaxed. Great analysis of all of the close up, medium and long shots, these edits definitely give off a actioned packed movie.
