Adaptation Sources: Batman: The Animated Series (1992) to The Dark Knight (2008)

For my adaptation, I will be comparing the 1992 Batman: The Animated Series to Christopher Nolan’s 2008 film, The Dark Knight.

In regards to social history, I’ve focused on the inner-city crack epidemic, the mobster culture, and the growth of the internet for the 90s. For the 2000s, I’ve focused on the War on Terror, the 2008 Recession, and the rise of Big Data and social media.
