It seems like the main analysis from this scene is that Monika had an immense amount of pressure on her to win the game. It was clearly a very important moment for her, as she was talking to herself. I think the techniques that you discussed contribute to the larger idea that success if crucial to Monika, and these techniques also helped the audience feel that too.
ReplyDeleteWith this you can tell the main character puts so much pressure on herself and you can really see that throughout this scene. The camera work helps us really get into her head and be able to see she wants nothing more than that success.
