I do agree with the specific stereotyping of the characters in the Lion King. No one says that simba represents A black man. I also think its wrong for disney to do this because this is of course, racist. I think it's very interesting that disney never really publicly was put under fire for a movie that is clearly very racist. However, the movie is still enjoyable for all races at a young age because when you are youger, you really don't notice things like that and you really don't care either. I never really knew how racist the lion king was until this year, which shows that the hidden racism can remain hidden for a while.
