Rockler Article :WM gr1 pg 16
In group one, which consists of white males, the main idea was normal movie- goers do not look to deeply to what is going on while watching a movie one of the men says "I mean your average Joe who goes into a movie theatre with his children, he won't see what she sees" (Alex, pg16) Rockler then explains that the men are thinking of the way she analyzes movies, in a childidish way. Instead of understanding then problems that are being portrayed ion the movie, it seems easier to just say that nothing is there. I agree with Rockler that the men were not thinking smartly about what they were watching, but instead they were trying to watch it the same way they did as children.
