I disagree with Samantha stating that the hyenas are representing whites, I feel they actually are indeed representing blacks in the movie. I understand where she is coming from however, the fact she actually used to live there despite her saying the whites would count as the minority in Africa, But the argument is stating that the Lion King is suppose to represent America in which her argument would be wrong. I suppose it all depends on the individuals view points as well.
