Rockler WM group 2
I would say that this is a bit mixed up. Saying that the lions are the white people, other animals are all of the other ethnicities, and the hyenas are the african americans with scar the jew controlling them. I do agree with the lions being white, as well as the other animals being other ethnicities, but i believe that Scar barely has an ethnicity, but doesn't express a religion, etc. At most, the Lion King obviously expresses a lot of black and white imagery, but i believe that Lion King focuses a lot on light and dark imagery. Sure Scar has a black beard, but does that make him an african american or a jew? I think Scar reemphasized the white population and how we can be over controlling, or always looking to acquire a higher power, as well as being lost and confused in our own actions.
