Sacred Heart 2 pages Analysis

Your pictures were a little blurry, but I was still able to make out the point you were trying to get across. The table you made was very clear and well-organized. I thought it was interesting that you labeled some of the lines dynamic and changing on the first page, because I thought that most of the authors lines were warm and gentle. But after second checking where you were looking, I could see why you could put down dynamic and changing.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Mr.Holmes! i agree w/ all of your Sacred Heart 2 page Analysis. The only thing I personally would have done differently is kept taking photos until you had a clear enough shot and then uploaded it so anyone could be able to agree or argue points easier.

ReplyDeleteI liked how you didn't follow most of everyone else's post such as the "line." I agree with your graph and how you made it clear to us what you were going to. My only suggestion to to try to get a better photo.

ReplyDeleteThe only suggestions that I have is on pg 287 panel 3 and pg 288 panel 5, in McCloud on pg 101 when he is talking about speed and the size of the panel he suggest that the longer panel is used to create the feeling of a greater length of time. Pg 287 panel 4 instead of "montage" I would say that it would still be "additive" because without the words one might think that they were just jumping off the roof not necessarily celebrating the coming storm, however on pg 288 panel 4 I would say that the words are a "montage", they simply make up part of the picture. You did a great job though considering the toughness of the assignment, I know I have a difficult time understanding all these pictures.
