When comparing page 12 and 17 to the online comic, there are slight differences in panel transition and plot but overall the idea is the same. I think that the ideas presented to us at the football game deeper rooted then a high school pass time. I think this might be a representation of a tradition in the story. In america football is a strong tradition, so I think the reason these kids who could care less about football are there, is to value the idea of tradition, or maybe even its importance.
ReplyDeleteI would reanalyze the abstraction for panel 1 however, it definitely has the most detail on the page. I would use the online book to develop a working thesis comparing the two forms of literature.
