How does our understanding of mental illness affect the way we look at crimes and violence? Rob Zombie tries to give us a better understanding of what made Michael Myers into the killer he was. By having an open mind we are able to see how the system failed Michael over and over so he eventually took matters into his own hands in the only way that made sense to him.
