There are a lot of small details that contribute to a big plot. It's important to realize that purpose for a large panel is time. The use of a whole page indicates that time is slowed down and that puts a large emphasis for the reader. Since it's describing a place and dream, it's necessary to make the panel an entire page in order to put more emphasis on it's importance. Another important aspect is that the use of detailed shading as well as dark lines gives a gloomy and dark mood to the panel as a whole for the reader. This is important because it symbolizes a dark tone for the plot and Karen. However, it's also peaceful as well because of the surrounding nature and seclusion from everything else. Although the panel may look intimidating at first, some additional analysis could be made in order to fully understand the panel's contribution to the plot as a whole. I know you can do it!
