Monsters Panel Analysis

  1. Really good! I interpret Franklin's dark shading to represent his dark past but his scars almost look like they're glowing, as if theirs an innocence and purity shining through and suppressed by his traumas. In panel 2 and 3 maybe elaborate on why there isn't a background, to me the time is moving slow, the lines leading to the talking bubbles are waves or spaced out, adding the effect that he's nervous to admit the truth behind his scars. A possible thesis could include the struggles of self identity muzzled by the physical appearance.

  2. I really appreciate you showing what panels are what in the picture of your page. Your organization make it easy to see what you are trying to say as well. I think you are making some good points about how the elements are working in the panels, but there isn't anything to interoperate what kind of argument you are making. What's the thesis here? You mention a lot on dark shading and simplicity of details, maybe working off of that would help in the presentation of your thesis. So far so good!
