I think you're right about the lines defining the seriousness of the conversation and the panels. I also think it might be because this is where the story line shifts, this is basically the midway point of Mia's galactic breakdown of wanting to be with Grace. She drags all her friends/coworkers into the brink of danger for a girl, which is crazy. And even crazier is that her friends even went along with it because they knew this was the most exciting thing they have done in a while.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the lines show the seriousness of the situation, this is a major point, a turning point of the story so I agree that the lines represent the severity that is taking place.
ReplyDeleteThis is really well-done! The tension in this scene is high, and the art style Walden is using really reflects that. This could perhaps also be a moment of internal change for Mia, a sort of "Wow, this is actually real. I'm actually going to do this." scene.
