I will be showing my focus group a movie called Swiss Army Man.
 I plan to pick a few (3-4) people from the class and about 4 to 5 people outside of the class to give me some outside perspective. The outside people will probably be composed of some high school friends and people from my other classes. The overall subject that I would like to touch on is suicide and how we as a society view mental illness. I think that I might end up arguing that mental illness is still very taboo and weird to talk about in our society. I would also argue that this movie is very very strange and funny as well as heartwarming in a different sense. All of these elements are unexpected when dealing with a topic like mental illness but it is effective and thought provoking. I'd like to explore the intention of this.
