Adaptations sources blog post

 Annotated bibliography:

In this blog post, your task will be to create a kind of annotated bibliography where you list the sources you will use for your Adaptation Presentations and write a short description of what kinds of information each source provides. I will give you feedback so that you can add anything additional you are missing.

You should have two sections of sources: 1) Genre and 2) Social History. You may have an optional 3) Apparatus if the class readings on apparatus theory issues are not quite helpful enough for your project. Aim for 3 or 4 sources in each category (more is ok). Half can (and should) be simple kinds of informational documents (like Wikipedia and imdb). Half should be deeper analysis articles from academic sources (similar to the articles we read for class).

·       The article is an explanation on the Panem state, which was stablished after natural and other global disasters. It’s located in North America, because of course if any country out of the 195 countries. The government is a plutocracy, meaning that the rich are in power, such as an aristocracy. There are 13 districts, but one of them was abandoned during the first movie.
