Main Focus Stanley is wrongfully accused of stealing a very valuable pair of sneakers and sentenced to a juvenile facility in the desert.

Genre :Adventure fiction, mystery 

When first Stanley, the main character is first being introduced you can see that he is skinny and  somewhat of a nerd as well.

Social History: Today's generation, it doesn't matter who you are, tall,short, big, skinny, evyone has different backgrounds.

 Ideology:Good and bad things can happen to anyone.

Novel 1998

Main Focus: How the actions of several characters in the past have affected Stanley's life.

Genre: Young Adult Fiction, Adventure fiction, Mystery.

 

When Stanley was first introduced in the novel, you picture him as a tall and heavy person that is commonly mistaken for a bully as well. 

 Social history: Back then everyone was stereotyped and had the "roles'' in life.

 Ideology: Your consequences can have negative or positive effects.

  1. What is a thesis you could compile with this set of thoughts/information? How do stereotypes affect people’s perceived and actual roles in the film/book or in life? Is there a race/gender aspect of these stereotypes? You mention consequences, what sort of consequences occur?
