o This source highlights the 1995 Jumanji story line, Jumanji is a board game that sucks you into the game, Jumanji is a jungle where you have to travel through the game. Once the game starts you have to complete it. Two characters have been stuck for twenty years, and two more join the game once it’s rediscovered in their attic. The story is full of adventure as well as fantasy and comedy.

o Vulture summarizes the modern take on jumanji, where the students uncover the video game jumanji. They then select players and are thrown into the game where they must play to the end. However in this Jumanji they only have three lives and must be careful to not lose all their lives. Along the way they’ve met a character who had been Stuck for several years. He only has one life and hasn’t been able to get past the level they’re on.

o This source really spoils the movie so if you haven’t seen the 1995 version  I wouldn’t click. Also it really highlights all the main points, before Alan gets trapped in the game, he and his dad get into a fight, him and his father leave on bad terms. 20 years pass and Alan is still in the game he’s able to see his family in the present. He finds out his dad has past away and spent all his money trying to find his son aka Alan.

o So in 1995, a lot of things were occurring Bill Clinton was president, nuclear war was becoming a thing and OJ Simpson was on trial.

  1. Your sources look good and like they can be of great use to you. I would think about finding more sources that fall under the social history category. I feel like have a grasp on what was happening with social history in the time that the movies came out could really better the content of your project. As well as give you a greater understanding on the importance of pop culture in society.
