Looking at this page I think there may be an argument to be made about how those harsh lines lend a hand to the dialogue on page. The harsh lines give off a serious and uncomfortable feeling to me. The lines being more harsh than they are in other pages help me stand in Grace's shoes and better understand how serious the moments.
After looking at your page and chart I totally agree with your analysis. I believe the art work is very abstract but not all the way so 4 is a good answer. You can really see how the mood changes in the panels through the lines. After each panel you can see it in the characters face as well. The transitions in the panels were all moment to moment, they were all scenes of her walking. Also to time was regular and the words were all specific.
I love this page in the book Very detailed. I think you did a great job of breaking things down. Im still thinking of a good argument you could use. Ill get back with you on it.
