You analysis was pretty on point with the panels, and I liked how in depth you went with it. As for something bigger that could be talked about, perhaps you could talk about the different ideas that comes with space from the background. For example, like you said, how it gives off this feeling of cold and emptiness. This is magnified by the way space is portrayed in the fifth panel, without any stars at all, when the other panels with space at least had stars showing. Maybe you could talk about the contrasting in those types of scenes and how the author wanted us to think about space in different ways and scenarios.
Your analysis of the page that you chose was excellent. In the bigger picture, you could maybe talk about how this scene is a lot less serious compared to others and how it shows us that, while these kids are very serious and put in many adult situations, they're still kids at the end of the day and still play around from time to time. So, I would definitely try to incorporate the playfulness of this scene in some way.
