When looking at the type of lines that are being used on the page you can see that panels 1 and 6 kind of have matching line types, but then panels 2,3,and 4 the lines match up to themselves. To me the lines become warm and gentle when the girls are by themselves and the forget where they are at. To me when the scene changes the background that go into their own world. Maybe your thesis can focus on line changes and how it affects the way the reader reads the comic. -Brittany Ibarra
The color is very interesting in these panels. It isn't exactly bright and exciting but it is such a big step up from the sad blue used in so much of the comic. You can talk about how to color changes throughout the comic based on how Mia's feelings change.
